Privilège Signature 650

 Privilège Signature 650

The new flagship of the Signature range, the Privilège 650 Signature replaces the Serie 640 and boasts outstanding innovation and design features that underlines Privilège's claim to leadership in the luxury, blue water sailing catamaran sector.

Franck Darnet and the Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group are the talented design duo that worked closely together to combine masterfully top design, sailing performance and living comfort.

Deck:
The new flush deck sets standards in terms of aesthetics and functionality. The foredeck has been redesigned to be completely flush, while the trampoline nets have been optimized for safe working, even in rough seas. The wide side decks are also fitted with flush hatches and - together with the high rigid guard rail - ensure a high level of safety at sea. All deck hatches have larger drain capacity.
Another new feature is the teak sun lounge in front of the forward saloon windows, which is slightly raised and protected from both wind and prying eyes on both sides.

Cockpit:
The cockpit has been lowered to create a step-free connection to the saloon. This allows the living space of the saloon to be extended into the area of the cockpit. Two large, upholstered sun pads to port and starboard, a seating area with dining table, a rear bench and a completely new sun lounger with a view over the waves, ensure that even large crews have enough choice when it comes to sitting and relaxing.
The optional hydraulic bathing platform can comfortably launch an 600kg tender, water sports equipment or bathers. And an electric grill, an ice machine and a mini-bar round out the main upgrades.
The new designed stairway to the flybridge features elegant teak steps and a comfortable handrail resulting in easy access.

Flybridge:
The enlarged flybridge offers a large U-lounge with a table, new ergonomic benches as well as a fully equipped designer helm station to starboard. From here, all lines can be operated via four large winches to the helm station. There is the option of a second helm station to port to ensure that you are always on the ideal side during harbor maneuvers. If desired, the double helm station can be fitted with a fixed bimini, with an awning over the lounge area. The newly designed windscreen is made of shatterproof and scratch-resistant plexiglass and blends elegantly into the overall appearance.
The flat, aerodynamic design of the coach roof is accentuated by the stylish panoramic windows and can be customized with colored roof panels.

Rig:
Compared to the Serie 640, the optional carbon rig has an extra 50cm in the mast and a 30cm longer boom that adds 3m² to the genoa and 6m² to the mainsail. The mast is now located on the forward edge of the coach roof, which means a tidier forecastle, better visibility from the saloon, and more efficient line management as ropes are routed directly to the helm station.

Saloon:
The side windows in the saloon have been enlarged, while the front windows have been set further forward and closer to the vertical. The standing height in the saloon is enlarged to 2,12 m. In the galley-down version, the light-flooded saloon is equipped with two L-shaped lounge areas and two coffee tables. The two tables can be converted into a large dining table with a connecting leaf, seating up to 10 people. Alternatively, a vast lounging area can be created with additional cushions. There’s dedicated storage for the flexible furniture in the port corridor. An oversized flatscreen TV and a modern navigation corner round off the saloon in technical terms.
A galley-up version is available as an option.

Owner’s suite:
A side window to port and a large forward-facing panoramic window above the king-size bed also provide maximum natural light in the master suite. The headroom has been raised close to 2.00m, so that even tall sailors will find a comfortable space. The ensuite bathroom can be set up in the port bow to create additional space for storage and a sofa, or more centrally in the compact version of the master suite.

Crew cabins:
While a small crew cabin can be chosen in the port bow; a fully equipped crew quarter can alternatively be configured in the starboard bow. One bow always serves as a sail locker.

Guest cabins:
There are two guest cabins aft with fine views through the hull window from the double berth. A possible third guest cabin next to the owner’s suite rounds out the balanced accommodation below deck. Each cabin has its own shower and toilets.

For increased range and renewable energy generation on long voyages, the Privilège Signature 650 can be equipped with two powerful hydro-generators.
