Privilège Vendée Globe Limited Editions
Privilège and the legendary Vendée Globe race team up for a limited series of catamarans for the great adventure. This special edition embodies a sail around-the-world spirit that binds Privilège Marine and this legendary single-handed round-the-world race. Because both were created by the same sailor Philippe Jeantot, Privilège Marine and the Vendée Globe share common roots and values. A great deal of nautical innovation comes from ocean racing and this universe has always been a source of inspiration for yachting historically.
Optimized performance and safety
This Privilège limited series of catamarans, available across the entire range of catamarans from 51 to 65 feet (so for the Privilège Signature 510 – 580 – 650) features a robust, lightweight design thanks to the use of materials such as carbon. Inspired by the challenges of the Vendée Globe, these models feature even more advanced navigation technologies and autonomous energy systems for optimum safety and performance.
We worked closely with Arnaud Boissières, Imoca skipper and long-standing partner of the shipyard, who has set sail on November, the 10th for his fifth Vendée Globe. As technical advisor on this project, Arnaud Boissières played an essential part. He contributed with his offshore racing expertise to enhance safety, performance and sustainability energy management to this limited edition of catamarans.
